I have been wondering the same thing. Can someone recommend another travel site? I too am not very fond of Travel Advisor.

One positive about all this.

That this being the only thread on which anyone can make a non travel related post, we all get to see comments from posters we may never have come across otherwise.

'Since the reboot, accessing TT on my blackberry has become a very different experience.'

Change your diet and try an apple instead.

while i have no profile issues to report , i do how ever appear to have a significant number of posts missing , instead of the i think 3000+ i'm now only showing around half of that ..
Will i be re credited my missing posts or are they gone forever ?

I'm also missing my PM's and addresses of other posters that i used to correspond with via PM's ...

Many thanks ..

Will try to get an answer about the post count problems. Also have noted the feedback about access using mobile devices.

@ribblerat

I presume that when the other branches finally reopen,your posts will return too.

Either under the original branch or as 'archived'......

Actually the post count is even more abysmal than i thought 492 :-(

I some reason can't post to the italy section. I wrote a question and when I submit it says "You are trying to post content to thorntree that is not allowed". Nothing in my post at all can be considered offensive

See my #22. When you find the "offensive" word, please post it here (obfuscated so that it posts) so that we can keep a dictionary of "offensive" words. I'd look first to words/abbreviations that contain non-word characters.

@#100 I put a post up about Mexico a couple of days ago and merely asked about budget accommodation in cancun, but away from the beach. It wasn't allowed either. Don't feel that you've been singled out. I have no idea either as to why my question wasn't permitted, except that I posted it on the 'Caribbean' branch as there is no 'Central America' branch at present. That's all I can see I did wrong.
