At this point, for me at least, some of TT is better than none of TT. The only way I can see tomonitor progress of the process is to watch the daily increases in numbers of topics for the
country pages in the departure lounge. The reason things are the way they are is because
of priorities, full functionality of TT is a lower priority than the present "cleaning" process. If
you've watched the topic numbers grow in the departure lounge on the country and region
branches, you may have noticed that all the growth has been primarily in just a few branches. Maybe that means something or maybe it doesn't. Looking at the functions that have been disabled one might guess that there may be some value to someone in the posts that are
being scrubbed and an effort is being made to preserve them until they are found and looked
at. I can't help but think the folks who are presently elbow deep in the cleaning process have
had their workload increased several fold and are working with a lot of schedule pressure
as I speak. I hate to say it, but for some here, it looks like the Internet is their opiate of the
21st Century.

Ditto westwood et al but weaver the Post New Topic does work! New posts are appearing all the time in SE Asia forum, UK and Australia where I regularly lurk.... so do you mean other forums where it's not working?

We have reviewed our branches and wish to make sure they are as editorially relevant as possible. Some were not and in a few cases had contained some language and themes which were not in line with our overall standards and those will not relaunch. Your Choice also contained almost exclusively non-travel related conversations. In addition a few of the postings in the archive were incompatible with running the world's best travel forums, and it's time for us to call it a day.That's what you said right?
Seriously - at what point does 'Get Stuffed' contain 'exclusively travel related conversations'? Because presumably that's what you want for the 'world's best travel forums'. Answer is never.
How come you get to pick and choose what fits your mental new guidelines, without actually telling your users what does? That's totally sucky customer service. Please put the travel related conversations back on to Your Choice - there were LOADS. Far more useful ones than there were on Get Stuffed.
