Global Motorbike Travellers To Meet 7th Time In Chiang Mai Jan 11 &12
GLOBAL MOTORBIKE TRAVELLERS TO CONVENEFor Immediate Release: December 22, 2012
(Chiang Mai, Thailand): The 7th annual Southeast Asia gathering of global motorcycle
adventure seekers is slated for January 11-12, 2013 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The travellers and
travel dreamers will meet at the Rider’s Corner Bar and Restaurant both evenings at 18:00 to
mingle and trade information on everything from the latest and best maps, motorbikes, routes
and border crossing regulations and Customs.
On Friday there will be a “Welcome Motorcycle Travellers” reception sponsored
by The Heaven and Earth Golden Triangle Riders’ Band from 18:00 – 19:00. Attendees
from as far away as Canada, Germany, Singapore, Australia and the Republic of South Africa
have registered.
Saturday evening is scheduled to include multimedia presentations by travellers from Great
Britain, Canada and Australia after a BBQ (200 THB, reservations required for the BBQ). The
shows will feature topics such as ongoing motorbike journeys around the world, through China
and one adventure that seems to have no end. More information can be found at the global

Horizons Unlimited is the home for serious motorbike travellers interested in adventure
journeys to, from and around Southeast Asia. Meeting attendance is open to the public and there

January 11, 2013 (Friday)
From 18:00-19:00 a "Welcome Horizons Unlimited Travellers" reception will be hosted by the Golden Triangle Rider Band and their soothing CD quietness in the background. Free beer and mixed Jameson whiskey drinks for all attendees for the one hour, then attendees are on their own for the rest of the evening. All meals ordered are at 15% off, compliments of the Rider’s Corner. This is an open mixer for any serious motorcyclist or Horizons Unlimited travellers that happen to be in Chiang Mai for the Mini-Meeting January 11-12 or just wanting to drop in and meet other like-minded serious and adventurist motorcyclists.
January 12 (Saturday) – Group Photo and HU Mini Meeting BBQ and Multimedia Shows
At 14:00 there will be a group photo in front of the Rider’s Corner Bar and Restaurant.
At 18:00 the general plan for the Mini-Meeting is simple. Show up at 18:00, have a drink, tell some lies, and enjoy one of the best BBQ buffets in Chiang Mai (reservations for the BBQ are required! 200THB. Call 0870481787 or email riders.corner.cnx@gmail.com to reserve your meal) After the BBQ (19:30) there will be slide shows or multimedia presentations with much conversation and trading of travel tips specific to the Golden Triangle and Asia, or around the world!

• THE WANDERING MOTORBIKER I (The Pitfalls Of China Planning, What Happens When The Whole Reason For Your Trip Goes Up In Smoke, But You Have Already Left And Are On The Road). Show by "The Universal Eyes" on the road, aka Richard Winter (TravellingStrom) from Australia.
