Hello!
In just over a month, a friend and I will leave home in Australia to travel to Canada. From here we will head down into North America, through Central America, before ending up in South America.
My ticket from Sydney to Vancouver is a one way ticket, which brings me to my dilemma; in order to enter North America (Canada and USA count as one in this case) you must have a proven exit ticket into a non-neighboring country eg. Mexico, in this case the next country would be Guatemala.
So I'm currently looking for some sort of official exit ticket (which isn't a flight ticket) that I can use to enter Canada. Most of my searches so far turn up with suggestions on illegal border crossings!
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Bruce & Cal

Hi brucal!Welcome to TT!
King-Quality and Tica Bus have buses from Mexico to Guatemala but AFAIK, they don't allow online bookings. I don't know any bus company that would allow you to book a ticket online from Mexico to Guatemala.
You could try to book a ticket from Cancún to Belize with ADO although I don't know if they accept credit cards issued out of Mexico. You could give it a try... if you plan to go to Belize.

How do you plan to go from Panama to South America? Are you aware of the Darien Gap? If you aren't make a search in the Central America branch in order to know what are the options to go from Panama to Colombia by surface transport.
P.S.: It could be a good idea if you post your question in the Americas-Central America branch.
