itinerary revised

Hi again (Tim, Moroccotraveler, Khamlia, and everyone else)

The chainsaw has spoken...

Dec 23 - Arrive in Casablanca at 1 pm, hopefully catch a 3:15 or 4:15 train to Marrakech
Dec 24 - Marrakech - medina in the morning (guide), Majorelle garden afternoon
Dec 25 - Marrakech to Taroudant, via Tiz N'test, overnight in Taroudant
Dec 26 - Spend most of the day in Taroudant, drive down to Agadir
Dec 27 - Spend day in Agadir
Dec 28 - Agadir to Tafraoute, overnight
Dec 29 - Tafroute to coastal areas south, and then return to Agadir
Dec 30 - Agadir to Essouira, stop at Thagazoute and some sand dunes (any other recommended stops)
Dec 31 - Essouira - hang out in the city (favorite restaurant?)
Jan 1 - Essouira to Oualidia, overnight there
Jan 2 - Oualidia to Casablanca, spend last night there.
Jan 3 - tour big mosque, 2:15 pm, fly out of Casablanca

Am I still pushing it in some parts?

Thanks again!

Norasakura, are you flying on Emirates? I'm coming from Tokyo via Dubai. And what were you planning? Length? Cities?

Why you want to go from Taroudant to Agadir, then to Tafraoute and back to Agadir.? You can continue from Taroudant to Tafraoute on R109 and R106 directly. And then you can go to Agadir. You save also 100km travel if you take this route I suggest you.
It is to much travel anyway, days are short, travel slowly and you give you not much time to relaxing.

yes !ping pong !by Emirates via Dubai ..(from Kuala Lumpur )

I think we are taking the same flights...:-)

Once I reached Casa, am going to Fes ..so, my plan would be :-

..... Khamlia, I think Surf is using Public Transport, the route you suggest has little traffic.

Surf, days 25th. and 29th. using public transport makes this proposal slow and difficult. Have you worked out how to do it.

The only Public Bus crossing the Tiz-n-Test Pass (weather permitting) is Tes Kam Bus Departing Marrakesh at 23.00h via Ansi to Oulad Berhil where you take a Grand Taxi to Taroudannt. Otherwise do it in relay using Grand Taxis, slow with delays waiting for taxis to fill.

This sort of travel is better done with your own car/motorbike.

..... you are right Khamlia.......... Surf mentions hiring a car, so this latest itinerary is possible, and the route you suggest is fantastic.

Surf, form Tafraoute via Tiznit towards the Coast you have two choices for seaside villages, Aglou Plage (Sidi-Moussa-d'Aglou) or a bit further away Mirhleft, consider an overnight, take the time to enjoy this wonderful stretch of the Atlantic Coast. This area is perfect for a car, you are in the Sous-Massa National Park.

+1 for khamlia's comments, still lots of travel.

Dec 29 is particularly horrific, especially with the short winter days.

Thanks so much guys. Saving 100 Kilos would be great. I'll do some more shaving to the schedule.

By the way, if any of you come to Tokyo, PM me and I'll be more than happy to guide you around.
