Chengdu to Zhangjiajie
Hi there,I'm planning to go from Chengdu to Zhangjiajie in early January this year, and have heard about a bus that goes from Chengdu to Changde in Hunan. Does anyone else know about this bus? Does it run in winter, and if so, when does it leave and how long does the trip take?

Hi, I think there is no bus from Chengdu to Changde, maybe you can take train. It's K788, from Chengdu East Railway Station to Changde, lasts 17 hours 1 minute.2
There is no direct bus/train on Chengdu- Zhangjiajie.Probably, by connected bus on Chengdu- Chongqing(10:00)- Zhangjiajie or by connected train on Chengdu- Changde- Zhangjiajie.
I prefer by train; Chengdu East- Changde (#K788/K785, 14:58/07:53) then Changde- Zhangjiajie (#T8308/T8309, 10:38/13:06 or #K1373/K1376, 10:19/13:59).

HI, i think there is bus from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou. But not very sure about it as i am not the locals. It takes about 10 more hours to take the bus. Always departs in the morning and arrive in the everning. You can ask a local travel agency, i think they will be clear anout this.And there is train from Chengud to Changde. It will take about 17 hours. K788, 14:58pm-07:53am.
