New Year's Eve in Pai, Thailand
Hi everyoneI will be in Thailand for NYE and was thinking of spending in it in Pai.
Has anyone done it in the past? I am travelling alone so I am looking for a place with a good vibe where I can meet people so that basically I won't spend it alone!
Do you think Pai would be a good choice or should I stick with Chiang Mai maybe?
I am trying to book everything now so that with a bit of planning ahead I can find a decent place to sleep and not too pricey.

I imagine Pai, being a major backpacker destination, will be a Bacchanalia of drunken debauchery on NYE. Finding people to party with will be the least of your problems. I'm spending NYE in Mae Sariang. I expect that it will be a bit more low-key, which suits me fine.
