Greetings fellow travelers! This is my first foray onto Thorn Tree and I'm impressed by the amount of great info.This is a last minute addition to my southeast asia itinerary so I plan to do more research before posting specific questions here.
In the meantime, if there are any folks that are going to be in the Chiang Mai area at the same time that would like to join up for some excursions, please PM me.

I am planning on loading apps/guides onto my smartphone so that I can reference them when I don't have a WiFi connection. So for I've downloaded Travel Essentials by Catherine Bodry, City Guide and the LP guide on Chiang Mai.Do you have any other apps/guides that you would recommend? There aren't many that have been reviewed on iTunes so it's a bit of an unknown. Thanks!
