AA Ambassador lounges in Chicago

We have a long layover at ORD on a upcoming trip. Luckily they had deeply discounted fares and we were able to fly Business Class on these legs and thus can spend the time in the Ambassador Lounge. I note there are actually two, one across from Gate G8 and the other between H6 and K6. Has anyone been to both and can compare them in terms of size and comfort?

The H/K Admirals Club is quite a lot bigger, and has better views of the runways, if that's of interest. The G club is smaller and relatively more remote, but I suppose the walk is good for you. The H/K club can become quite crowded.

I'd probably base my choice on where your next flight departs. Any lounge is better than none, especially at ORD.

Might be worth checking out time limits. You say you have a long lay-over at O'Hare (mad busy aiport). I know many lounges where they only allow a maximum attendance time of three hours!

Flyertalk would be a better source of information for this question. Just go to the AA thread and post there.

Won't be a problem in the ACs.

Closing the loop. We went to the H/K lounge and found it very comfortable. We especially liked the little sandwich shop.

O'hare is not crazy busy if all your flights on the same airline, as you dont have to transit, and will mainly be in 1 terminal, in this case, Terminal 3. O'hare is a very comfortable airport, lots of food options, from sushi to wolfgang puck. You can transit between the 3 main terminals, but if you are arriving on a International Flight, you need first clear Immigration in Terminal 5, then tram to the other 3 terminals and clear security once again.
