Advice for Tobago

Hi
I am a 22 year old female travelling alone. I will be in Tobago for three weeks in January, and wanted some advice on must dos while I am there - I will be based in Scarborough. I also keen to hear from anyone who knows what the safety situation is currently like - from previous posts it sounds like Tobago is safer than Trinidad??

I am flying into POS late at night and am then catching a flight to Tobago early in the morning - I presume it will be safe to remain at POS airport for 5 or so hours rather than paying for accomodation?

Would appreciate any tips,
Thanks.

Tobago is much safer than Trinidad, but not really safe (except the area around the airport and Pigeon Point)

Yes of course Piarco isn't anything special-just an airport-but there are places to eat.

BTW-There is absolutely SFA in Scarborough town-it's a nowhere place with nothing to appeal to anyone-a complete waste of time.

Well, Upper Scarborough is nice with Fort King George. You easy reach Store Bay and connection to other places on de island. Shopping (supermarkets) are more.

Hi, Check out Charlotteville. It is worth spending a week around there.
