Obtaining a Pakistan tourist visa in India (Americans)

Have any Americans attempted to apply for a Pakistan tourist visa in India recently? I know that rules were tightened and this is supposedly not allowed, but rules change frequently and I am wondering if anyone has given this a shot. I was denied my tourist visa in America with no reason given so I am hoping to attempt again in India.

Not for a long time, and if you have been refused in your home country that will be on your file. Isn't the internet wonderful !

I remember from your previous post that you were planning to rent an Elephant so if you have by now arranged an Elephant then you can just ride into Pakistan (without a Visa) on your Elephant and you will be treated like a VIP as long as you stay on the Elephant.

Unfortunately, the relations between Indian elephants and Pakistani elephants is not so good, tension is there. However thoughtful your suggestion may be, you have neglected to consider the delicate rift between the two very similar yet infinitely different pachyderms that was created by colonial powers well over half a century ago. The Pakistani elephants would never let me across the heavily guarded border on my Indian elephant. It may have been a long time ago but an elephant never forgets.
