Where to find apartment rental for 1 month IN London

Hi,

Anyone know which web sites have good price for renting an apartment for 1 month in London? We will be 2 persons and would like to stay and feel the every day life on londoners.

Thanks

You could check gumtree and see what's around. It might be more a case of what's available than what's good. I reckon, not ever having done it, you would be looking at say GBP400-500 for a double room for a month depending on where you land. Don't hand over any money until you see the place and the room and the inhabitants.

IMO, places beyond zone 1 are your better option to see 'everyday life'. You could consider south of the along the A23 so places like Kennington (Walworth Rd is very everyday) or further out to Streatham or Balham or even Tooting. North is nice too, say Belsize Park or you could look east to say Hackney.

How do you define a good price?

You can also look into Air BnB

Hi,

Thanks for the reply and suggestion so far. Anything under 2000USD for 1 month is good. Doesn't have to be spacious as long as there is enough space for a couple to sleep at night and a small kitchen to cook our own meals.

you cannot have a normal let for a month, six months is the normal minimum. What you want is called a 'holiday let' which will be equipped with all you need, and I think your budget is VERY tight for London.

AirBnB would also be well worth a look.

there are people living right in central London with 'everyday life'. I know some of them.

Any other sites suggestions? AirBnB is nice but we prefer to stay alone instead of with a host.

PS: Forget my comment about the everyday life experience. We re desperate to find a reliable site for renting and appartment for 1 month (vacation rental)

You do not necessarily have to stay w a host using air bnb. You can find entire apartments and what not to rent and will be alone. However if someone else already has part of that month booked you can't rent for an entire month.
