Goa for New Year's Eve - Agonda or Patnem?Hello people
I'm heading to Goa for New Years, arriving 29th December..
I'm a single female traveller and although I don't want a full on scene like Palolem, I want to keep safe and have a few places to hang out in the evening.
Has anybody been to Agonda or Patnem? What kind of new year's scene would there be in those places? Or any other suggestions for lively but not too full on?

Not sure if you read through my last post in another thread where you wanted to know Goa or kerala.
Anyways, North Goa almost all places you have lotsa parties happening. Anjuna, Calangute, Baga, Vagator for sure. Not so sure about Agonda or Patnem.
I'll be there in Goa from 24th Dec to 30th Dec, lemme know if u'd like to catch up.

2If you do not want the"full scene like Palolem"you sure do not want the Monster Crazy Scene of north Goa...Pure Madness..Agonda is the better choice, more choices.
Myself.I would base myself in either place and hook up a ride, round trip,to Palolem for some early evening activity and head home as it pleases me..Sort of have a "the parties over for me and I'm out of here."free ticket in my pocket.Make sure the taxi will wait for you.Taxis disappear at 1-2 AM and the price triples...Same for Xmas.

For the kind of party ur lookin for, Agonda will be the best place. If u feel Agonda is a bit slow moving then u always have the option of Palolem.
I am also planning to go to Goa from Pune (where i work), on my motorcycle. Most probably I'll be riding & traveling alone. So if you or any other person reading this post wanna hang out (IF...u don't have problem with an Indian traveler), please do let me know. I'll be interested to share experiences & have good time.
Have a gr8 NYE.
B smart B safe.
