Lodging in Oaxaca

Greetings,
Can someone please recommend a place in Oaxaca where one can rent a room (preferably with kitchen) for one month. I know this is often done for language students. Near Santo Domingo would be great.

Check the forum at www.oaxaca,com There is a section that has to do with accomodation

Check the book at the English lending library. We also check the papers and notices, write down what looks good to us and call the landlords to come by and see the rental. We negotiate with a taxi for a price to show us the apartments....but pay him at the end of the trip!
