Swedish Personal Number

Hi!

I am Australian and lived and studied in Sweden for a year.

I have a British Passport so I did not need a visa, I was given residency.

I want to go back to Sweden and work but I need to apply for a Swedish Personal Number. I am told I need a European health care card to apply for it. The problem is that I have never lived in the UK so I can not apply for the card with out a insurance number or something?

I was wondering if it is possible to apply for the insurance number in Sweden? or if there is another way I can get the Swedish Personal Number. I want to get back to Sweden as soon as I can :) wonderful place :)
