It's been awhile since I've been to Kamloops, but I believe there are local Buses within the city. The city is somewhat "spread out" and extends from the downtown area and up the hill and also across the river. There are not really that many "attractions" except for Sun Peaks, which is outside of town some distance. If you're not a skier or snow boarder, I'm not sure there would be anything to interest you there. If you could indicate what type of "attractions" you're interested in, I may be able to offer some further suggestions.
