Santa Marta and onwards

I’m travelling from Spain to visit my daughter in Santa Marta in Colombia in January and would like to make the most of our visit by travelling onwards from there. Any suggestions of where it is practical to go on to fro Santa Marta? There seem so many places, on a limited budget though and have around 10 days. Any ideas would be great?

Dave, there's lot's of cool stuff around Santa Marta - I like that part of Colombia - but you should post on the Colombia travel branch.

Cuidad Perdida. Lost City. A great trip and jungle experience. Lots of snakes if you keep yours eyes open and walk in front of everyone.
