Visa requirements across SE Asia
With only 6 months to go till my departure from the UK to SE Asia I have one final question:For the following, can I obtain a visa on arrival and what is the length of stay per each of the folllowing:
- Bangkok (arriving by air)
- Laos (overland)
- Vietnam (overland)
- Cambodia (overland)
- Malaysia (overland)
- Singapore (sea/flight)
If I do intend on staying in a country for longer than what is permitted is a Border Run something of which to consider?
Any comments and opinions expressed in reply to this post will be very much appreciated... as always!

The only visa you will need before you arrive is Vietnam which, along with Laos and Cambodia are full page visas so make sure you have enough space.http://www.everydaysomewhere.com/search/label/Visas

Don't forget some airlines want to see a ticket out within the time of the stay permitted on arrival (if you don't have a visa). This is usually not the case when flying in from the countries mentioned. You can fly into Malaysia without a ticket out - might be a good place to start. Unfortunately the link in #1 does not discuss this.Paul

Cheers for the links and information. After reviewing the information on here and the sites it is fair to say that the only Visa's of which I require in advance is; Indian and Vietnam?
