One can often get into Downtown Los Angeles's pre-war glamour theaters one of which is now used as an evangelical church and the Aztec Theater further south. Downtown Los Angeles is awashin retro architecture as is the fairfax & Miracle Mile districts along Wilshire Blvd. Do not forget rhe old hotels and theaters in theHollywood area. Long Beach too has a treasure trove of 1900-1950s retro buildings and business scattered throughout the city.
