Yeah so it could be an issue. Perhaps I skip it this time? I was going to rent a car, and dump it at the last location, and fly home to ny after maine?

Probably the best place to see the tides is at Fundy National Park, which Google Maps puts at 4h 25min from Bangor. Take a look here for some advice.

yeah I haven't been there, but that map looks about right.

The biggest tide changes are reportedly in the NE corner, and the tide changes are what make it a bucket list item, but the BoF is about a lot more than that. If ref_traveller says to view it from Fundy National Park, I'd view it that way and go to the NE only if time allows.

Bob, you are saying that the park itself is something to see when i'm on the NE trip if time allows? Is it worth the 4-5 hour drive?
