Dublin adviceHi there,
I'm traveling to Dublin on the 12th this month for a couple days. It's the first time ever I'm going solo, really excited but a little nervous aswel!
I tried to book a nice hostel but the first ones said there closing down for the "Christmas period". Now I got a little scared that I maybe booked a wrong period to go? Anyway I found a nice one in the end, was wondering if anyone here knows a few nice places to go in the evening. Hoping for a bar where they have jam sessions or live music?

1Time is a little short and I am not a Dublin expert so can only advise you ask on a more active Forum like Trip Advisor which has some excellent local advice for the city.

4I think this is a nice time of the year to visit Dublin (weather aside); the streets look lovely all lit up and you have people out for christmas parties etc. There tends to be a nice atmosphere all round.
Going out wise I would stick to the area between Grafton Street, George Street and Dame Street. I'm sure a few others will drop by to let you know of music venues.
