Abisko NP in winterWhat walking trails are available in winter in Abisco NP? We will be there in December travelling by car/walking (maybe with snow shoes). I wonder if this park is much visited in winter and if there are snow mobile/skiing/walking trails present?
My guide book mentions a walk along Abisko canyon as well as rock formations of Karkevagge and sulphur lake of Rissajavrre. Any there any other interesting features in Abisko that we might get access to in winter?

1If by "walking" you mean hiking in the national park, your only option is cross country skiing. Abisko is 200 km above the Arctic Circle and it´s December - the ground will be entirely covered by snow.
But the trails are all open for skiers, and clearly marked. You could stay overnight in Svenska Turistföreningen's cabins (http://www.svenskaturistforeningen.se/en/). I´m sure there are companies who offer snowmobile or dogsleigh tours, as well. Good luck!
