2-weeks around northern norway, sweden and finland

Hi,

I am planning a 2-weeks tour around northern Norway, Sweden and Finland.
Will most probably be heading out alone otherwise with just another companion.

Came out with a rough itinerary on where to go for this trip but am not sure if it is feasible.

**Singapore - Helsinki - Rovaniemi - Lulea - Kiruna - Alta - Honningsvag - Tromso - Oslo - Singapore**

There are no direct flights from Singapore to Helsinki or Oslo so I will need to transit in between.

The main purpose of this trip is actually to catch the Northern Lights and also to drop by Santa Claus Village and North Cape.

I have heard that Norway is famous for it's Fjords and Mountains.
I hope to be able to squeeze at least one for this trip but I guess it may not be possible as I can only afford a 2-weeks holiday.

My main focus is actually on Finland and Norway.
But seeing Sweden in between, I thought it would be good to drop by 1 or 2 places down in Sweden.
Or should I give Sweden a miss to have more time for Norway?

Hope to hear more advice, recommendations and suggestions!

Thanks!

You have 8 stops up north for 2 weeks (and spread over 3 countries!!) - already too much - have you figured out the logistics (all the flights you need - will they run at the days you need ).
Also - you ARE aware that Northern Lights visible = winter = no sunrise or only a few hours daylight up north.

North Cape is not worth the time and money anytime IMHO and definately not in darkness in the middle of the winter.

That there is no direct planes is no problem - fly to Copenhagen (or Stockholm?) and you simply transit to a plane to Helsinki or from Oslo - there will be MANY planes between the capitals every day.

Thanks for the tip Bjoer. Have heard a lot about North Cape not being worth visiting, but thought that area would be a good place to jump onto the Hurtigruten headed to Tromso.

@Bjoern : Thanks for the advice! =)
I haven't done much research yet actually.
It is just a rough guide but yep, will re-plan the routes.

@chrisngpg : I havent had much notes to trade yet for now; not planning to go so soon.
Meanwhile, enjoy your trip over CNY. Let me know more about your trip when you are back! =)

you ARE aware that Northern Lights visible = winter = no sunrise or only a few hours daylight up north.
If you go in late Feb/March you get about 50/50 daylight/night and thus can sightsee in the day and see the lights if you are lucky.

Well, it might be a seasonal thing, but there certainly ARE direct flights from Singapore to Helsinki.
I am booked on one next July, I catch Singapore airlines to Singapore then transfer to Finnair which takes me direct to Helsinki.
