Re #17, isn't a hemispherical challenge forbidden under the Western Europe rules??? But at least our showers this morning were rain and not snow, though still only 2C with low cloud.

Lo and behold, a light dusting of snow here in Milan. Christmas is surely nigh.

Not nice in Nice, +10°, half blue sky, half grey clouds but dry this morning.

If we keep this thread going until the end of the winter it will be the longest thread ever seen on the TT.......

I think we might organize a TT-meeting in Frankfurt, I have to be there end of January or February and many TT'ers are sure to have a layover there;-)
NB. Frankfurt layover, concurring with Cinque Terre and Bruges or Ghent and daytrips from Amsterdam in the top-5 of superfluous questions)

Snow in Bad Boekelo almost disappeared. Trains some days winterservice = about 30 % fewer trains, esp. in the Randstad (western and central NL)

Not only TT'ers, bunch of people have layovers in FRA, I'm not one of them ; )).

I have a 5hour layover in FRA what do I do?? For me easy, go home take a shower or a nap ; )).

Maybe we can start a thread where everybody puts time and date of their layover in FRA in and then have a meeting.

Not sure what you mean exactly but, just in case it was necessary, I was going to propose Sierra Nevada (Spain).
BTW, Fwoggie, the OP, seemed to allow reports from anywhere around the world when said in #21: OP here: definition of snow report: regardless of season, where you are there is snow now.

I don't think we'll be able to beat this thread... Well, not this winter, maybe in the future...

No snow in sight where I live but there's snow in some areas of Spain. Some pictures of Lunada can be found here; only to put an example.

Arizona: I think that the day trip from Sevilla by train and ferry to Morocco and the cheap overnight ferry from Dubrovnik to Athens must be part of the top-5 questions.
Luca: perche no? BTW: in our 2 countries, there is no month where it may not snow somewhere, in the Alps (Monte Bianco) and may be into the brain of some politicians.

Sunny Sunday morning and 10% hotter than yesterday (11° in the moment). Always dry, cold and windy.

It is raining here, and hail again last night.A little snow up on the mountains around the city, though not Monte Pellegrino (too low and exposed to the sea).

Truly horrible weather in Palermo.

BTW anillos...now I know why nutrax has got 22,000 posts ;-)
