No UK but Ireland, 2 weeks of sunshine during our vaccation, started raining when we went to the airport, 3 days I spend in London were so hot I wanted to hop in a fountain somewhere, one never knows with european weather.

When I went to Paris with my school in Aug 2010- despite sound advice from this forum, god knows why but I was dressed for 25+ temps on the day of arrival. Brrr...it was probably 13 or 14 degrees, rainy and there was a persistent breeze.

Same for my school trip this year to Germany. Didn't take too many warm clothes- in the end I had to wear shorts for 2 days when it was raining and 3C (min) outside... Yeah, people smirked "Why are you wearing shorts today?" ;-)

Today's Forecast: elephants in doorways.

I have seen the future and the first rule of Weather Club will be...don't talk about Weather Club.

Freakishly warm weather for the season all over France. Therefore the flu is flourishing.

41.8 in Hobart two days ago- thats a bit much if you dont have AC!

And lots of ash falling from the bushfires!

Is Paris ever threatened by bushfires?

Gray and damp for the past couple of days here -- it's 8° and an excuse to check in to see who's back.

We've had the wettest and one of the warmest months of December so far and with very little sunshine. Good for our energy bills, bad for our vitamin D.

Happy new year to you all!
