Do I get the prize for the most southerly snow of the winter so far??

I think that you don't get it (the prize) but let's clarify some points:

1) I think you should clarify if winter was a typo (and you meant autumn) or if you really meant winter. In other words, if you are using the Astronomical reckoning of seasons or the Meteoroligical one. Or, if you prefer, When does the valid period for that snow start?

2) The snow should be (have been) over an inhabited town/villages or is snow in mountains also valid?

#17 - well, that's not very nice is it??
1. If it snows it must be winter.
2. Judging by the amount of times I stopped at pedestrian crossings and the number of cars in Montefiascone, it is very inhabited.
And just remember it is St Nicholas' day today, so don't be so mean!!

Thuringia, central Germany: 1 cm down in the town and 30 cm in the nearby mountains
Really looking forward to Christmas in Dresden (9 cm right now).

#16; #20 beat you by thousands of miles :P

OP here: definition of snow report: regardless of season, where you are there is snow now.

Bonn update: the lightest of light dustings has unsurprisingly melted. Vincent Kompany sneezing on Christiano Ronaldo would have been sufficient hot air to melt the lot. Like #15 we are also due 5cm of lying snow over the next 24hrs; it's due to start 5am-ish and not stop until about 10am ish on Sat. Will be light, but lightness aside, 30hrs of it whilst sub zero will have some sorta effect.

Personally not affected. Work is a 400 metre stroll. Just have to fish out the warehouse spec safety boots for max grip. No biggie.

Time is changing here too. +10°, grey sky, cold wind from the north. We need to go into the snow but he did not comes to us. On New Providence I would like to be now.

-2C, started snowing at 9am in the end, so a few hrs late. Currently there's about a cm of the stuff. Mother Nature's taken a tea break at the mo and laid right off. It's still snowing, but the flakes are microscopic at present. Still not enough for a snowball fight.

#24 Love the picture of the cows mating. Only in Belgium would a newspaper publish that ;)

Those are all pictures sent in by lectors. That's why most of them are rather boring.

Rather warm afternoon here, around 30C.

Gosh, I so wished it snowed here! Of course, not going to happen...
