vang Veng bus to Ventiane

vang Veng bus to Ventiane

We are on a rather tight schedule with 1 night in V V before a few already booked nights in Ventiane in Early Jan.
Is it possible to book the VV to Ventiane bus ahead of time by internet so as to not get caught out, or is it not a problem to get the ticket the night before when we are there Thanx

Book the 9am/2pm backpacker bus the night before, or just go straight to the bus station when you want to go and get on one of the many buses passing through.

Don't worry, you're not going to get stuck. The various companies will often club together and fill up two half-full buses. As others have suggested book the night before and you'll be fine.

Either book bus ticket when you arrive at bus station or plenty of agents in town or GHs will book, or you can take a minivan for similar price but they will drop you in VTE centre not 9kms out of town at bus station. Lots of buses I prefer the express ones to the VIP.

Thanx for the tips.
I guess the fact that VV is quieter now would help as well.
We'll check out minivan or express ----cheers

You can just stand on the main road and flag a blue local bus down. The local buses go the the central talat sao bus station which is much more convenient. I've done this many times.
