Need help getting a Visa in Colorado!
I am looking to apply for a Visa for my upcoming trip to Brazil, I leave Jan 10th and need to get this asap! I live in a remote part of Colorado and for the life of me can't find a local Brazilian Consulate. Is there even one in Colorado?? I am under the impression that you have to show up in person at some point during the process of applying for your visa or is there a mail in option? Any information would be greatly appreciated!Chris

The Brazilian Consulate that has jurisdiction over residents of Colorado is:Consulate General of Brazil in Houston
1233 West Loop South, Park Tower North, Suite 1150, Houston, TX 77027
(713) 961-3063/64/65 ; Fax: (713) 961-3070
E-mail: consbras@brazilhouston.org
Read the regulations for visas from this specific consulate very carefully. Each consulate does things a bit differently.
This one's page says "individuals can submit their visa applications either by appointment time at the Consulate (scheduled online; submitted in person or by a proxy) or through one of the registered visa agencies."
So it seems that if you or someone you know cannot go to Houston, you need to use a visa service and pay an extra fee to them. They do not seem to accept mail-in applications.
