Ile a vache kayaking

Has anyone kayaked on Ile a Vache and where can I rent them without staying at one of the hotels? Thanks!

if you don't get an answer here, you may be able to buy a copy of Paul Clammer's new guide (not avail. yet in the US), or try emailing/phoning these folks -

or just ask a local fisherman if you can rent his boat - they are pretty small...

Thanks Perryander. That email is for the person who owns Village Vacances and he said they are in the process of getting 5 kayaks. I stopped by Port Morgan and Abaka Bay and both hotels have kayaks and other equipment you can rent if you eat there, so you don't need to stay overnight to be a guest. Port Morgan has a pool, and the rooms sit up on a hill over looking the bay. But you can walk down to the beach. Abaka and Village are both right on the beach. Abaka has more infrastructure and things to do, but Village is supposed to be an ecolodge and would be good if you wanted to be secluded. All three are within a 40 min. walk of each other on picturesque paths.
