3 Weeks in the Philipines
I'm sure you have all been asked a million times before, but I'm after ideas for 3 weeks in the Philipines in March with my partner.We are both 27, and are into island hopping, beautiful beaches, we want lots of RnR and also the odd stop at a lively place where we can have the odd night in lively beach bars meeting other travellers, we're adventurous (not really into long treks
We have only just booked our flights, and we are only just starting to look into places.
We definatley want to go to Boracay and the Visayas, we would like to go to El Nido and do a few days island hopping, Cebu...Palawan underground rivers...
So basically what I'm after is ideas of where we can go. (Thinking white sands, beautiful coves, turquoise seas)
And where would be best to go first...
I did look into El Nido and then the island hopping first but i think that would be a lot of moving round to begin with, not what we want to be doing after a 17 hour journey from the UK.
So maybe head to Cebu first..
eventually to Boracay..
Over to Peurto Princess and El nido
Back to Manila - then Home.
Can someone help me fill the gaps....where do we NEED to go

juz sharing.i spent a week in cebu (in the city as well as venturing out to the outskirts eg. bantanyan..) and a week in palawan (started from coron - el nido - puerto princesa).
cebu was beautiful with the rich culture and street food. was there a week in jan though for sinulog. and it has the most beautiful beaches i have seen thus far in bantanyan - santa fe. from cebu you guys may wanna head to moalboal or the outlaying islands for the beaches and where there are more RnR.
a week in palawan was not enough for me though. coron was beautiful with the lagoons and island hopping. el nido is where i felt there were more lively beach bars (i spent 2 nights in el nido. both at the beach bars hanging out with new found friends). the beaches were indeed beautiful. but rocky coast. puerto princesa - what can i say? don't miss the underground river. firefly tour. but there isn't really much island hopping you could do.
can't help for the boracay part. yet to been there. but i did hear/read that bohol was a good place too. probably you wanna check it out? =)

There are some great places on Cebu, Bantayan, Malapascua, Camotes, Moalboal so choose one destination. Fly Manila to Caticlan, then fly to Cebu then to Puerto Princesa. At least 10 days on Palawan..
