10 days in India (Easter 2013)Hi
I plan on going to India next Easter, for 10-12 days, want to visit Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Varanasi, Udaipur.
First time in India, so I have three questions:
1) I know 10 days is little, but that's what I got - any tips on how to get around best possible way, so I do see some of the cities instead of just spending the time travelling from place to place; airplane, car, train?
2) Right now I'm travelling alone, but would like company - do you know of any forums (except for this) where you can find fellow travellers?
3) Any other places nearby the mentioned cities, which would be good/possible to see on the way?

2OP - You've got 10 days, not 10 weeks. Forget post 1. You don't have time to see what you've got listed, let alone add Ranthambore and another city. Additionally, you've listed cities which are on opposite sides of the country.
India travels slowly. Generally one can visit a separate destination every three days (including travel time). That means in 10 days you've got time for three places.
I suggest either Delhi, Agra and Varanasi or Delhi, Agra and Udaipur. I you choose the Rajasthan itinerary you could make a quick stop in Jaipur, but it's a nasty city and not worth rushing there for.

3Listen to laketraveller, it really is slow going in India, and if you have a tight plan it can easily be scuppered by something as simple as a delayed train.
You'll enjoy it far more if you spend most of your time exploring, rather than travelling (or waiting for transport..)
