Travel to south of Quintana Roo
A friend and I are going to Chetumal, then to to Bacalar and at the end, we want three days on the beach, at the Caribbean. From Chetumal, what beach do you recommend? Mahaual? Xcalak? Other place on the zone? Thanks for your help!Cheers!

Xcalak has snorkeling, diving, and mangrove swamps, but no actual "beach". While at Bacalar enjoy Cenote Azul.2
Agree, Bacalar is great and so is Cenote Azul. There are some beaches in Xcalak but they are further north of town about 12k, hope you have a rental car, extremely difficult to travel here without one. But yeah, if you are looking for those beautiful white sand beaches and turquoise water, you need to get up further north toward Tulum and Akumal.
