Russian visa registration questionHi
Please can someone help me.
I plan to stay in St Petersburg for 1-2 nights and Moscow 2-3 nights and then either go to Kazakhstan directly from Moscow or go to Mongolia via Irtustk and stay a night or 2. Do I have to register my visa upon arrival in Russia, since I should only be staying in Russia for a maximum of 7 nights and if I do, do I have to pay each hostel to register my visa, or can I just pay one hostel to register my visa for my whole stay in Russia (but I don’t know how long I’m staying as my plans might change), or pay a travel agency to register all my visa for my whole stay?
If it can be done by a travel agency, does anyone know a cheap travel agency who can do the visa registration upon arrival into Russia and can they register my whole stay rather than hostel by hostel?
Thanks for your help in advance

1Registration is only required if your staying more than 7 working days in one place so I wouldn't worry about it.
Registration has nothing to do with visas, I'm not sure how the term visa registration ever came about but people are required to be registered in accordance with the law whether they need a visa or not.
If you stay in a hotel they are required to register you within 24 hours of your arrival.
