Visa on arrival?

Hi everyone,

I found conflicting information regarding the visa on arrival. I plan to FLY into Burundi from Nairobi. I'm traveling on a Western European passport. I understand that I can get a visa on arrival at the airport. However,
1) for how many days - 3 or 30?
2) cost of the visa and what currencies are accepted?

Any current information is highly appreciated.

What is so conflicting? I think there are various postings on it indicating that

At the airport:
3 days USD 40
one month USD 90

Apart from USD, I don't what other currencies are accepted.

There is a money changer next to the visa office. If the visa office doesn't accept whatever currency you have, you should be able to change it to USD there (as well as getting some Burundian Francs).

Is it possible to get transit visa on arrival at the border from Rwanda? I'd like to take the bus Kigali - Bujumbura on a Thursday, then fly out on Saturday.
