Fez music festival

Hi,
Would like to go to the fez music festival in 2013. Wondering if any one knows when the website is usually selling tickets? I've looked at last years programme and it seems there's lots happening, music wise, after 4 pm. Is there much going on before then? We're travelling with a 5 year old so can't do late nights so wondering how much of the festival we'd experience given our child inspired curfew.

Thanks,

Rohan

June 7 to 13. Hotel prices go way up.

There's also a music/dance festival in Marrakesh, the Festival of Popular Arts, which is more directed toward the locals and less to the visiting leisure class. It's usually end of June/beginning of July.

Ramadan begins July 9, 2013 so be aware of that.

June is pretty hot in Fes, probably why most events are at night. But having taken a 6 year old to the Palmyra Music Festival in Syria, I've got to say bringing a kid to one of these things opens a lot of doors. Of course, it could be different with the Fes Festival, which is directed to foreigners anyway.

Change the child's sleep pattern. ;)

Actually I'm serious. The middle of the day will be very hot and it's advisable for you all to sleep through the heat of the afternoon.

When we travelled with our daughters at that age in Spain and Morocco they stayed up till all hours. And as IntrepidGee alludes, Moroccans love children and you'll get away with anything,
