Warm winter

Hey everyone,

We are planning to walk in one of Jordan wadis, at the end of December. It can be in Arava valley or the dead sea, for 2-3 days.
Do you know of any trail where you walk in warm waters or one that has hot springs, as this time of the year could be chilly and nights can be cold, and it would be nicer if the water will be warm.
How warm are the water in Wadi ibn-hammad in winter time ? We have been there in June and it felt very pleasant but maybe feels different in this time of the year.
We also did Wadi Dana, Ghweir, Hassa and few other small ones, but all in summer.

Thanx,

O.

A small wadi with warm water is Wadi Daba'. I was there in Januari and guess the water was 40-45 celcius. Not long enough for a 2-3 days hike though if that is what you are after.

Location and pictures here.

Hey henkbos,

sounds good, 40-45 degrees. Is is the wadi water temperature or some hot springs on the way ?
In any case it is good for this time of the year, so looks like we are going to do it. It's a short one and still looks really nice from your pcitures.

Thanx.

It gets warmer as you get closer to the spring. Pool is a bit muddy though :-)
