Where to go in South East Asia?Hi everyone
My fiance and I are taking a trip in January 2013. We will be heading from Beijing, China to somewhere in South East Asia.
We need your help to decide where to go. We have already visited Thailand and Bali so we would like somewhere new.
Places we are considering include the Philippines, Borneo, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Vietnam.
We would like a great place to stay that is beautiful, by the beach, has access to jet skis, cool markets and cheap massages. If we could get to see some monkeys that would be great too.
All of the above destinations fit our budget for flights but we're open to consider other places as well.
We have a budget of around $50-$80 per night for a place to stay. Ideally, this would be beach-side but also have its own pool and balcony in the room. We're looking for somewhere that is a great place to relax so not too loud but also have access to some decent restaurants, bars etc.
If anyone can make some recommendations for a place to visit or even some hotels to stay at we would really appreciate your help!

1If you like Thailand and Bali you will like Langkawi and most of the little islands near Malaysia. There's a couple more islands around Malaysia, go on to Nha Trang as well in Vietnam, they are like little Bali, some called. And if you're feeling a little bit more adventorous, you can go to Raja Ampat, and that's in Indonesia, near Papua. It's one of the best place to go snorkeling, diving and its crazy beautiful. NTT (Nusa Tengarra Timur) in Indonesia, just a bit further than Bali also has beautiful beaches.
