Clark Airport to Manila???
Have flown in via Clark on Air Asia last couple of visits and each time used the excellent Margarita Station airport pickup service to take us directly to first stop which is always a Manila hotel. Price for the private transfer to Manila is 2950p, plus the obligatory tip for the driver. We have a booking to meet us this time but on the proviso have to walk away from the terminal a way because as they emailed me "Sorry to say that the Airport Taxi Mafia at DMIA has threatened all of our drivers, so they are no longer willing to do pick-ups and drop off at the Clark airport."
So thats OK, we can lug 2 kids (1 in a pram), 3 suitacases + carryons a couple of hundred metres to then settle back and get delivered directly to our hotel. They even offer San Miguels at 25p each so pre-booked a couple of those on ice waiting in the back.
Just thought I would check though on others experience? We will have left home close to 24 hours earlier and saved a packet on flights so not too concerned about cheaping it with above mentioned accessories, but are there any other options?
Same for return from Manila to meet flight home. Marg Station have said OK, but "can only drop you off outside the Terminal as well"
Any thoughts?

I wouldn't want to get on a bus like that with 2 kids, one of whom is in a pram, and also the fares are, I understand it, not all that cheap. If he's getting to Manila for 3000 pesos that is about right, nobody could do any better than 2500 these days even if the driver was desperate to get there for reasons of his own. The mafia want 4,500 or they did at least when I asked them last time I arrived at Clark.I suggest bringing a bunjee and using the pram as like a luggage trolley for the 800m walk to the gate where the taxi is waiting.

I thought Air Asia had a shuttle bus to Manila ??There is the Philtranco bus but this is a rip of 475 pesos and then you have a taxi ride at the other end in Manila. Otherwise there is a shuttle bus to Marquee Mall where you can then transfer to another bus to Manila.
As Callippo says that's a real faff when you have two kids!

Fair point, that is a rip off price when Dau to Manila is less than half that price. Together with the crazy taxi mafia thats why I try and avoid Clark if possible..7
Hi guys,Im arriving this week at Clark at mid night & staying at my friends house for the night. I have a flight to Puerto Princesa next day as 16.00 pm. is there a cheap way to get from Clarke to Manila airport?? How much will it cost?

Bus from Dau Terminal (about 5km from Clark) to Manila..9
Allow plenty of time, but should be OK in mormings as traffic is lighter, traffic getting Manila from the north onto EDSA is a nightmare in the evening, often takes around 2 hours from toll booths onto EDSA esp. in December.10
Did Dau to Manila (Pasay) 2 weeks ago after returning my motorcycle rental to AC, I believe the fare was 158p.14
Hi Guys,AA canceled the direct flight from Clark to PP that's where all my trouble started. I eventually caught a bus from Clark to Pasay & then a taxi to Manila airport, b'cos it was a sunday the roads were quite empty.
