Getting Vaccinations in Spain

Hi everyone!

I'll be spending the months leading up to my trip to SE Asia in Spain but I need to get most of the recommended vaccinations. Does anyone know where I need to go to get these vaccinations and maybe roughly how much it may cost (e.g. rabies)? I've tried scouting the internet but all I'm getting is descriptions but no prices. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance

Centros de Vacunación Internacional. This is a list of official yellow fever vaccination centers. You don't need that for SEA (unless you will be transiting through Africa), but any such center should also do other travel shots. Many of them are government clinics; they are labeled Sanidad Exterior. Others are hospitals or other clinics. UNfortunately there are few web links, but there are phone numbers and email addresses.

Since my Spanish is rather primitive, I asked a friend who is from Spain for some help on finding fees. I sent him the URL for a clinic in Madrid and got this response:

That’s the right hospital. (I used to live five minutes away from it in Madrid!). There is no mention of prices anywhere on the site, though. He should be looking for:

“precios” (prices)

“tarifas” (tariff)

“coste (de la vacuna)” (cost of the vaccine)

There’s an email he can try for information (sanidadinforma@salud.madrid.org) but knowing Spain I doubt he would get a reply in time. Best thing would be to ring the phone numbers listed in there.

I hope that is helpful
