Christmas Eve in Baja Cali Sur
I'm planning to rent a car in Cabo San Lucas and drive up to La Paz via Todos Santos on December 24th. I'm concerned everything may be closed on that day. Do shops and restaurants close on Christmas Eve? What's the traffic like? Is it mad to drive on that day? Any thoughts?1
I think the traffic would have slowed down some on Christmas Eve. That's a major road now, I think it's four lanes all the way (I haven't been around Cabo in some time). There will be plenty of restaurants and shops open. The tourist areas will be hoping to serve you. The malecon in La Paz is usually filled with lights and decorations for Christmas. The parade of people will be wonderful to see. Enjoy yourself.
