Bali in February

I am thinking of going to Bali this february on my way home from Australia. However, I realize that it their rainy season and am wondering how much of the day is affected by rain? I've heard it usually only rains hard for a hour and then is hot and humid. I'd appreciate any help!
Thanks

We rarely have monsoon type of rains here on Bali even during the peak of our wet season which is right when you are coming. The beach areas of Bali see far less rain than the central mountains, and it’s also true that much of this rain comes in the afternoons and evenings…usually as thunder storms. Generally one can expect an hour of two of rain, and then a clearing. The rain is welcome as it cools everything down and leaves a wonderful fresh scent in the air.

In southern Bali, yes, it will be hot and humid...but far less so from Ubud and north into the central highlands.

Rainy season in Bali is not really that bad. You will probably hardly notice it. In fact its my preferred time of year here. Enjoy!
