Current Pension Resident Visa
Having searched the Internet and this site, I haven't found a recent posting of the requirements to get a resident visa for pensioners. What documents are required, the income requirement, and where to apply (Spain or at a local consulate)?3
You asked where you should apply. I told you.Joaquinx, it's very unlikely that anyone reading this forum would know the answer. According to your profile you are in Mexico. That may or may not mean that you have Mexican citizenship. The chances of anyone on this forum knowing the precise answer for Mexican citizens (or Mexican residents without citizenship) wanting to retire to Spain are very slim. It's unlikely that some random person with exactly your circumstances will just happen to see your post and know the answer.
Thorn Tree is a travel forum, not an expat forum, which is what you should be looking at.
Questions involving official documents and other information for the purpose of retiring to another country are well beyond the scope of Thorn Tree.

I am trying to help you by pointing you in the right direction. Instead of throwing pointless insults my way, you could use your time and energy to look on an expat forum for Mexicans wanting to retire to Spain. I am sure Google will help you with what you are looking for.7
I haven't insulted you, yet. I am sure that there are those on this forum who are expats in Spain and are members who ask for and supply tourist information. I am not a Mexican and I doubt that you are an expat living in Spain. Please reserve you comments for another forum and/or topic.Got a link to a site?

Oh yes you have. You said to Aribo:Please reserve you comments for another forum and/or topic.
Although come to think of it, the insult did actually come after you said you hadn't insulted him.members who ask for and supply tourist information
Exactly. That's what Thorn Tree is. But what you are asking for is NOT tourist information. If you are retiring to Spain you will not be there as a tourist.Edited by: Shuffaluff to add the last part.

you are wrong on the EU passportNo, I'm not. If you have an EU passport, you can simply move to Spain. If not (previous post should have read "if you don't have an EU passport"), you need to contact the nearest Spanish embassy to check what the latest requirements are. Simple.
I am not a Mexican
That what are you? Is it really hard to understand that without knowing your nationality, no one can even start to answer this question?
That plus the grumpy old man attitude. Good luck finding someone willing to risk being insulted by you. Or a Spanish official willing to risk allowing you into his country.
