I guess he might not have seen all the 'must see' places where he's been but totally worth travelling all those countries in such short span of time....

I would be up for it.

I don't think he has seen anything in those places ;-)

But if he has (apart from customs checkpoints) it was probably the 'must-sees'.Those are the things that people rushing through with insufficient time always go and see......

He set the Guinness World Record for most countries visited in a year by scheduled land transport, at 133.

If you think about it, 133 countries isn't all that many if your just crossing the border and going onto the next one like this fella has done.

If I had the time, and was funded by National Geographic I could easily emulate this 'feat'. Anyone could really.

There are European truck drivers who regularly do 11 different countries in under a week.

Exactly and I know a cyclist, ´doing´ 6 countries in one week. (Benelux, Fr., De, CH) And 9 in 2 weeks (adding Li, Au and It.)

To be honest, doing so and 'taking off in Vancouver' is quite a different cup of tea.
All in one I think it was a poor result with all support. Except when being noted in the Guinness Book is a personnal victory?!

'Doing' should be 'touching'.
