Good Budget Hotel in Bangkok?
Hi, I'll be staying in Bangkok for a couple of days... need a hotel. Most important is that the hotel is within reasonable walking distance of the Skytrain (or MRT, whatever they call it now that the extension's been added)
Other than that, I'd like air-con, attached bathroom (hot water), TV, and a fridge.
I need a quiet place, too, I'm a light sleeper.
And I'd like a reasonable price.
I pay 400 Baht per night for my guesthouse in Pattaya, but I think Bangkok's going to be more expensive than that. That's life.
But I still don't want to pay more than I have to!
Any recommendations? Contact info would also be good, although they're more than likely on the 'Net.
Thanks, people!

Hi!We just came back from BKK. We stayed 3 nights in Nice Palace Hotel,72/54 Soi Inthamara 1/1 Shutthisan Rd., 10400 Bangkok (we booked it on booking.com) which is near BTS Saphan Khwai and on walking distance to Chatuchak market. We payed 600 Bath for big double room with AC, bathroom with hot water, TV and fridge. It was clean and quiet and we were very satisfied, although we read some bad reviews. I recommend it.
Best wishes,
Ursa
