ferry from dominican republic to puerto ricohi guys,
just wanted to know if anyone knows if the ferry between dr and pr is operating at the moment and if so, how much and where to book. I have been on www.acferries.com but dont understand too much of it. I have heard a rumour its not operating until december?? any info would be appreciated.

1The web of the ferry company isn't useful as doesn't seem updated but according to the web of this tour company (which seems to be updated although it's always a good idea to confirm it) the ferry is running. You can consult in that web the schedule, the fares they offer for that ferry and to book your tickets if you want. However, I don't have personal experience with that tour company so I can't tell you if they are reliable, if you can get (much more) cheaper fares if you book the ferry directly with the ferry company...

3A little late, but:
I took the ferry in November. OW fare was 115 USD. The immigration formalities on the DR side were exhausting (for non US-citizens, they asked for three! copies of the ESTA-authorization which usually you dont eve have to print...). The ferry was ok, the advertised piscina had no water. There was plenty of space in the pullman chair area so one could comfortably stretch out there. Beautiful vistas of Puerto Ricos North coast in the morning around sunrise. Arrived on time in San Juan...

7Good day everyone. I have quite a few questions about travelling from DR to PR and back. its mostly the immigration process that bothers me. I have a difficult situation and I can not travel abroad the country, and my mom is travelling to DR from Russia ( she is a citizen of Russian Federation). I was wondering if it would be possible for her to travel to PR or state of Florida for a few days and back to DR. Does anyone know if she needs a visa, and how hard is it to get it and if there are any other difficulties she might face. Thank you in advance.

I don't know what are the entry requirements into the USA for Russians. You could take a look at the web of the US embassy in Russia as it should provide all the relevant info about visa requirements for Russian citizens so take a look at it (and get in touch with them if you still have doubts).
