Accommodation in Killarney

Hey everyone,
I'm struggling to find a place to stay during January in Killarney. I was hoping someone would have some suggestions??? I roughly want to spend around $50 as I'm on a budget however I'm pretty desperate so open to any ideas? Also not to far from the town as I'm on foot :)
Thanks guys

Mock booking on hostelz.com give some choice of hostels and guesthouses with private rooms. Try it with your specific dates.

Just passed through the town a couple of weeks ago, so no personal recommendations. Tripadvisor lists 129 B&Bs in Killarney, so I'd suggest that you just get into town (it's not that big) and look up a place that looks nice when there, there's sure to be free rooms available off-season.

In general, B&Bs is the way to go in Ireland, I'd say; was surprised at the very high standards. Your budget should be fine, assuming you're not talking zimdollars; paid between 30-50 € a night throughout Ireland.

Go and ask the tourist.office, they must be of good advice, and they will help you to find a place.

Good tip from #3, the tourist office in Killarney was the most helpful of all I visited in Ireland. The guy still keeping shop in the one in Shannonbridge wasn't bad, either.

hey,

there are lots of hostels and b&bs all around. just when u come out of the train station go around the building following always to the right (don´t go inside the center) and you will see straight ahead beside the church a hostel, quiet cheap, clean and nice ;)

best of luck, and how the others wrote, check out the tourist office as well :)

Do not worry about accommodation in Killarney...there are thousands of places. For a list of Hostels, you can check this web . If you are looking for a hostel, the Neptunes (in New Street) or the Railway hostel (close to the train and bus station) are good options.
All the best,

You should check out www.airbnb.com

It's a great accommodation website where you can either rent whole apartments from people or if you don't want to rent a whole apartment you can just rent a room in someone's place to cut down on costs. Not only is it cheaper than hotels, you also have the option of living with the locals for a bit if you so desire.

Good luck I hope you find something.
