my first memory of the never-never was when i went through the NT with Hannaford Coaches, mum, dad and sis, on a 30 day camping adventure in the winter of '75.Uluru was a different place, the Alice too. Darwin and her surrounds were a wreck from Tracey and, with no or little bitumen in them days, and two coach drivers that had been to the centre a few times already, our 45 seat coachload of happy novocastrian campers had the experience of a lifetime.
I blame that little adventure on my addiction to travel !!
