Sleeping car Warszawa to Chisinau

I'm planning to travel thru Moldova and Transnistria in the coming months and have found, in the Thomas Cook time table, an every other day sleeper from between Warszawa and Chisinau on trains 340 and 341. Problem is the Moldovan Rail website doesn't mention this service nor as far as I can tell does the Polish Rail site. The connecting train from Poland is train 68. Does anyone have any information on this service?

According to the website of Moldavian Railways there is no train #340.
Train #341 is Chisinau -- Moscow and 342: from Moscow to Chisinau. Few years ago I travelled by this train and should say that this one is very slow however it is cheaper compared to other trains with similar direction. According to the website of Russian Railways this train does not have any sleeping cars, I also cannot remeber any.

As far as I have understood you are going to make the change of train in Kyiv after you will come from Warsaw. Probably for you the best option will be the train #48 or 65 (via Transnistria). They both have a sleeping car and come from Moscow to Chisinau via Kyiv.

The above mentioned Moldavian railways site says there's a train car every other day (specifically, on even numbered days) from Przemysl (south-eastern Poland) to Chisinau; maybe you could use this one although it's really slow (28 1/2 hours).

Thanks for both replies. Looks like this is one of those times when the Thomas Cook is wrong or in error. Probably the easiest way to get to Chisinau from my starting point in Amsterdam is to go by rail to Bucharest and the "Prietenia" to Chisinau.

There is a bus from Warszawa to Chisinau every week, as i know every Thursday, route made by the company Eurolines, you can check all the details on http://www.eurolines-polska.pl, on http://www.sokol.com.pl or www.eurolines.md.
