Cuba e.g. diving
Hi all,I have been reading a lot of posts and it was al really interesting, will help me a lot.
I will go to Cuba from 13-31 december this year. The first 6 days I will be on my own and I would like to get my SSI (or whaterver other option is offered). Maybe to make it easier for myself I thougt I could do it in Havana... Tips are really welcome for diving and maybe places to stay in Havana when you are on your own!
My friend will arrive the 19th, but reading all the post I think we should start planning to make sure we have a place to stay around Christmas...
Any other tips are welcome as well. We are planning to go to the 'west-side', do some cycling in Vinales (we are Dutch, so we have to ;-)), relaxing on the beach and probably some diving (my friend already has her PADI).
Thanks a lot in advance!

Try the dive shop in the copacabana hotel in Havana . They have a great salt water pool to learn in and the hotel is not bad either. Then you can dive on a shipwreck right offshore !4
Haven't quite made it to Cuba myself yet (trip is March next year) but I have just booked to go diving at Maria la Gorda. Good info on diving in Cuba on Scubaboard.com forum. Definitely worth doing a search for Cuba there :-)ADVERTISEMENT
