New Year's Eve: Where to go??

We will probably spend New Year's Eve somewhere in Thailand. What would be the best place to go and what could we do? (any celebrations?)

It depends on what you are looking for. There is no best place as it's up to preference.

There will be parties all across Thailand. Big ones at discos in Bangkok and Phuket, beach parties on Phi Phi, Koh Pangan, etc. There's a huge party in Chiang Mai at Thapae Gate which some people like a lot.

Stop it with these one-line vague questions already!

What could you do? I'd do something if I were you.

That's as much as you deserve if you can't list age, place, interests, budget etc etc.

Your other thread says you'll probably be in Laos for New Year's Eve. That's not in Thailand, you know. Happy Indecisive New Year!

Ignore Bangkokboys anger issues. There are a lot of trolls hanging out on this url.

We once had new yrs on Khao san road a few yrs ago. It was a lot of fun if you can handle the crowds.
